Enrolment and Fees

Enrolment application

All enrolment applications are to be submitted online via the online application form. Please be sure to read the key enrolment information below and have your relevant supporting documentation ready.


Our online application form allows families to enrol and pay the application fee via credit card. A non-refundable fee of $100 will be charged per application.

Before completing an enrolment application, °ÄÁùͼ¿â requires that parents and/or guardians download and read the .  


This document contains detailed information about the College and outlines conditions under which children are accepted as students at °ÄÁùͼ¿â. By signing the Application for Enrolment, parents and/or guardians acknowledge that they have read, comprehend and fully understand the °ÄÁùͼ¿â Enrolment Guidelines, Conditions of Enrolment and Privacy Policy.


When submitting an online application, parents and/or guardians are required to submit the relevant supporting documentation noted below to accompany the application.

Please ensure all supporting documents are submitted as PDF files and that the information submitted is accurate.


Prep-Year 3

For all online applications please have the scanned copies of the following documents ready to be uploaded: 

  • A copy of your child's birth certificate
  • Where possible, a copy of your child's Kindergarten progress report
  • Where possible, a copy of your child's Prep progress report
  • Where possible, all copies of your child's school reports for Year 1 and Year 2
  • Any other information pertinent in supporting a student's education e.g. specific learning needs, specific medical needs etc. 

Years 4-12

For all online applications, please have the scanned copies of the following documents ready to be uploaded: 

  • All copies of your child's school reports from the last two years
  • All copies of your child's NAPLAN results
  • A copy of your child's birth certificate
  • Any other information pertinent in supporting a student's education e.g. specific learning needs, specific medical needs etc. 

International Students

International students should refer to the °ÄÁùͼ¿â International Student Enrolment Information.

After your application has been successfully submitted with all the corresponding supporting documentation, the next steps are as follows: 

  • A confirmation email is sent to you
  • Additional information may be sought, then
  • Student(s) and family are invited to attend a formal interview at °ÄÁùͼ¿â
  • After the Enrolment Interview we will write to advise of the outcome of your application and interview
  • If successful, you will receive an email with an offer of placement at °ÄÁùͼ¿â
  • To secure a place at Downlands, parents/carers and the child must sign the Acceptance of Enrolment at Downlands, remitting this, along with the confirmation fee, within the stated timeframe (usually four weeks)

NB: Receipt of a °ÄÁùͼ¿â Application for Enrolment does not constitute acceptance of the child’s enrolment, nor does it guarantee a child a place at °ÄÁùͼ¿â.

DOWNLANDS COLLEGE FEES

At °ÄÁùͼ¿â we believe every child is entitled to an exceptional education, so we have structured our fees to be all-inclusive, with our fees covering a range of curricular and co-curricular activities.

°ÄÁùͼ¿â has partnered with a specialist provider Edstart, to make it easier for famlies to manage school fee payments. Edstart allows you to pay school fees in weekly, fortnightly or monthly instalments. Fees can be paid evenly across the school year,  by reducing your repayment amount by extending the overall cost over a longer timeframe. All families are required to set-up an Edstart account online at .

FEE SUPPORT OPTIONS FOR BOARDING STUDENTS

°ÄÁùͼ¿â, Toowoomba (Downlands) is a proud partner of the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation (AIEF), working together to provide scholarship funding for Indigenous Students from Year 7 to Year 12. Indigenous Student Scholarships are for boarding students only.


AIEF brings together the government and private sectors to provide scholarship funding for Indigenous students to complete Year 12, with career support to help them successfully transition to further tertiary studies or employment.


Scholarships are available to Indigenous students who demonstrate financial need, are eligible for ABSTUDY and whose family or guardians support and encourage the enrolment and the Scholarship.
